Description   

Built after the liberation of Sarajevo on April 6, 1945, and located in front of the former Grand Hotel on top of Titova Street, Eternal Flame has been burning for over 50 years as a sign of remembrance of those who liberated the city from fascism. The Eternal Flame was extinguished only once in its existence; it was during the 1992-95 siege when the city lacked fuel. At the dedication wall, located behind the flame, the text was added to commemorate those who liberated the city from its latest (1992-95) siege.
